History 06/1993 Company was formally established and started commercial operations in Laguna under PEZA (Philippine Export-Zone Authority) registration as APTi-Philippines, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advanced Peripherals Technologies Inc. (APTi) of Japan (APTi changed ist name to JB Advanced Technology Corporation (JBAT) in April, 2008.) 10/1995 Established Cebu Extension Office 12/1995 Business registration was changed from PEZA to BOI (Board of Investments) 03/1997 Inauguration of 1 st subsidiary Alsons/APTi Information Systems, Inc. (AAISI) , a joint venture company with the Alcanta Group (Alsons), one of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines 04/1998 Expanded Business Areas to: 1. Quality assurance and software development for mobile devices 2. Middleware development for Point-of-sale (POS) Systems 3. Business Applications Solutions Development 4. Microcode and device driver development for Multi-function devices (MFP) 01/2002 Expanded Business Areas to Storage Solution Development 07/2002 ISO 9001:2000 Certification was awarded to Alabang and Cebu offices 02/2003 Established Makati Extention Office Multi-Monitor Control Panel (MMCP), was awarded as Grand Prize Winner under the e-Business Solutions Category of Best Product and Service Award Contest at e-Service Philippines 2003 04/2003 Established and inaugurated the Company's Training Center, AWS's Center for Technology Incubation (ACTION) 07/2003 Selected as one of the Philippine representatives for the Software Development Expo & Conference in Tokyo 2003. 10/2005 Joined the WCL Group 12/2005 Established AWS Inc. in Japan as Corporate HQ 08/2006 The Makati office, which focuses on business applications development, was established as a separate company, named as Advanced World Solutions, Inc. 02/2007 AWS won 3 Grand Prize Awards at the e-Services Philippines 2007 03/2007 AWS became independent from WCL Group 03/2007 TRS joined AWS Group to strengthen Engineering Services. 08/2007 Transferred Japan headquarters from Roppongi, Minato-ku to Mita, Minato-ku.   Organization
