AWS was featured on the October 29, 2007 issue of Nikkei Computer Magazine in an article titled "Philippines: Emerging Offshore Destination - Targeting international systems development projects from Japanese companies with global operations - ". While the article mentioned that companies such as Accenture, IBM and Fujitsu are expanding their development centers / delivery centers in the Philippines, it introduced AWS as one of the leading Japanese IT companies based in the Philippines.
