This is to announce that, AWS, Inc. and OGIS-RI, Co., Ltd., with its head office located in Nishi-Ku, Osaka City, represented by its President, Mr. Hikaru Hirayama, have agreed to form a business alliance in providing global IT services.

For many years, AWS, Inc. has been providing major Japanese enterprise clients with technology services such as embedded systems development, business applications development and product assurance.  AWS has four delivery centers located in the Philippines and has large pool of bilingual engineers who are capable of Japanese and English. AWS’s team in Japan works very closely with the Philippine team in delivering services. 

 

OGIS-RI, Co., Ltd. on the other hand provides IT support services to Japanese companies from its delivery centers and offices in China and Singapore with its wide array of information technology and quality management know-how for upper stream of systems development lifecycle including consultation and architecting.

The expansion of Japanese companies overseas in recent years is driving the rising demand of multilingual IT services.  To address such increasing market demands, AWS, Inc. and OGIS-RI, Co., Ltd. have formed a business alliance to provide IT services outside Japan.  Both companies will expand IT services in China and the ASEAN region by mutually utilizing management resources, including its offshore bases. With this alliance, the companies shall offer systems development, helpdesk, digital product testing services in multiple languages (English / Chinese / Japanese) and provide staff augmentation of IT engineers to support the computerization for companies based in China and the ASEAN region.  In addition, leveraging its expertise in IT training, the companies shall contribute to the development of global IT human resources by providing systems development engineer training in both English and Japanese.  

Overview of IT services abroad to be provided by the companies are as follows.

Systems development, help desk, digital product testing shall be provided in three languages at an affordable cost.  Both companies expertise in technology and quality management built over the years in Japanese market makes it possible.

Dispatch IT engineers to the overseas offices of our clients, mainly in China and the ASEAN region, to provide support for any IT requirements such as infrastructure and system development.

By utilizing both companies’ IT training know-how, we provide programs which are a combination of technical and language training for IT engineers. We can accept training in the Philippines in English, training of IT engineers in Japanese and English languages, and hands-on project training. 

Both AWS and OGIS-RI aim to enhance efficiency in systems development by adopting the Agile development method, which is the strengths of OGIS-RI, in systems developments performed overseas by the companies.
